Day trip in Val de Travers
The post conference day trip (September 7) will include an excursion to the Natural rock cirque Creux du Van. This regional icon has been created by the eroding power of water and ice millennia ago. On top, a breath-taking panoramic view is expecting the hiker. The tour will also comprise a lunch at asphalt mines of de la Presta (18th – 20th century) followed by a visit of this industrial heritage. Finally the participants will enjoy a visit of the absinth museum in Môtiers where an absinth tasting experience will be proposed to the interested participants.
